Pakistan has been plagued by some level of instability since its founding, but in recent years, the attacks, bombings, killings and more have escalated significantly. The Taliban, an organization Pakistan's secret service ISI is believed to have funded for many years, has now turned its attention to toppling the nuclear powered nations government. Islamist sympathizers are believed to exist within the military and the ISI, and are believed to be assisting those keen on destabilizing the nation.
